The SOMFY DEXXO OPTIMO RTS provides powered opening and closing for compatible residential garage doors. It combines Somfy RTS radio control with adjustable operating settings, making it a useful choice when replacing an older opener or planning automation for a villa garage. The final motor and rail configuration should be checked against the installed door.
The programming display helps the installer configure operation and review settings during commissioning. Preset functions can reduce setup work, but fitting the rail, aligning the brackets, setting travel and testing safety remain separate parts of the installation. The opener is intended for regular domestic use with suitable sectional or overhead door hardware.
The range supports compatible chain and belt transmission arrangements. This flexibility allows the rail system to be selected for the garage layout and user preferences. If remote access or additional controls are required, identify the exact RTS accessories and the supplied controller version before ordering.

Garage Compatibility and Installation
For a garage in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi or elsewhere in the UAE, begin with the actual door measurements and operating pattern. Check headroom, rail travel, mounting points and the condition of rollers, hinges and counterbalance hardware. A powered opener should be fitted to a door that already moves freely and remains correctly balanced.
During commissioning, the installer should set opening and closing travel, test force response and any connected safety sensors, and demonstrate the manual release. Confirm the supplied rail, remote controls and optional accessories before ordering so the installation matches the access requirements of the property.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which doors can use the DEXXO OPTIMO RTS?
It is intended for compatible residential sectional and overhead doors. The door type, travel and mechanical balance must be assessed before selecting the rail and mounting arrangement.
Does RTS mean the motor has built-in Wi-Fi?
No. RTS is Somfy radio control technology. App or internet control requires a separately verified compatible smart-home interface.
Can I keep my existing rail?
Do not assume an older rail will fit. Check the rail reference, drive connection, trolley and required travel against the selected OPTIMO operator.
